The Stiebel Eltron Mini™-E TLC Assembly is a kit that includes a water temperature limiting device (ASSE 1070) that controls and limits water temperature to fittings for sinks, lavatories, or bathtubs and is intended to reduce the risk of scalding.
Adding the kit to a Mini™-E will meet the requirements of UPC 413.1.
UPC 413.1 is intended to eliminate scalding danger in lavatories with unrestricted public access. It is not intended to apply to private residential bathrooms or commercial bathrooms not open to the general public.
